CLC Missions Funding Guidelines

Anyone seeking support from the missions committee should bring their request to the committee at least four weeks prior to their trip in writing and also address the committee in person, where possible. The committee would like to meet with the person upon their return, if possible, to share about their missions work.

The preference for supporting missionaries will be as follows:

1. Local requests (congregation members, AG missionaries, other)

2. Northwest District AG missionaries

3. AG missionaries from other Districts

4. Other missionaries

We will consider the following criteria for support:

1. How much has the individual sacrificed for their mission project; how much of themselves have they put into it?
2. The length of the mission project.
3. What the mission project is.
4. Other support options that they are seeking.
5. Need. The missions committee strives to give a consistent amount of support to each person seeking assistance.
6. Length of time they have been a part of Christian Life Center.
7. Will they be returning to Christian Life Center at the end of their mission trip?
8. Committee discretion, based on outside information, if available (or if the church board or Pastor has information that should be considered)
